Snow Day

This week our area was blessed with 20 cm of snow over a 12 hour period. This provided endless entertainment for the girls while Tony and I dragged the snowblower up and down our 200 foot driveway.

When the worst of it was over, the kids were back to school but Tony and I took a day off to spend at home to give our coronary arteries a rest and to keep our pregnant ladies from driving through a foot of snow to see us.

When she arrived home Lil asked: "What did you do all day by yourselves?"
"Oh we found stuff to do."
"It must have been very boring without us." she said confidently.

Gracie's little gem of the week has been her first sentence: "nice shoes"
I could not be more proud.
