Nesting

For the last 3 years, I've been checking RQ reliably, watching the referrals come, reporting on the timelines changing and Tony has been saying, yeah let me know when its time to pack. Until recently...but now the roles have reversed. He checks RQ every day, gets PMS every month and gets totally ticked when our referral doesn't come in.
Then this week-end, he started nesting. How does a man nest you ask? Well, he cleaned up the yard, fixed the plumbing in the kitchen, painted the house, rearranged book shelves, moved furniture, washed the dishes, disciplined the child, fed and walked the dogs, did the ironing...He did stop for one hour on earth day because it apparently isn't good to paint or move furniture in the dark...and then it started all over again.
Saturday, he announces that his obstetrical opinion on why our referral hasn't come yet is that I sleep on my back, and mothers should not sleep on their back in their final trimester, or in my case, final year of pregnancy, so no wonder the baby isn't coming.
All week-end I found myself saying "yes dear" or "it will happen soon honey" while finding a safe place in the backyard to hide. By Sunday night, he was pretty bagged and finally went to the man-room to play with his Wii and eat chocolate while I considered whether we should check his estrogen level.
So now its another week of the roller coaster...will it be this week or do we have another month of wait and see? If my nesting man is any indicator, the time is drawing near. And yes I am sleeping on my side now...Mary
