20 years ago today

We had fantasized about spending our 20Th wedding anniversary renewing our vows on a white sand beach in the tropics somewhere but the wedding planner lost her focus and is planning a new kitchen instead. However the 20Th anniversary flower is the day lily and nature has organized a beautiful celebration for us outside of our back door.
For this anniversary we decided that we would honour each other with an espresso maker and new running shoes providing us with motivation and the vehicle for our fast paced life. Tony got a nice pair of Nike's that look a lot like a lightening flash and I got a pair of the Reebok Easy Tones because there are muscles in my legs and higher that are apparently underutilized. I tried them out with my four legged personal trainer at 6 am, and I have to say I did find a few new muscles at the back of the closet.
We're still researching the espresso maker because there is a lot of coffee temptation out there and we are serious addicts. Its gotta be fast to keep up with Tony, make a strong brew to keep us going and easy for those of us easily confused by technology.
Strong, fast and easy sounds a lot like our first 20 years of marriage. And with a little luck the next 20 will be as much fun.
