Farewell China, August 5

Last night we had our best night's sleep - a full 8 hours without any 3 am awakening.  The jet lag has passed.  So I guess it is time to go home.
As we were packing up this circus in preparation for our flight tomorrow, we realized that another piece of luggage was required...so a brisk walk back to the silk market was a must.  By the end of our shopping we needed two pieces of luggage that we then had to lug a mile back to the hotel.
We were still pretty tired from the long walk and last night's festivities so I slapped on a pair of sunglasses to hide the bags under my eyes.  Lil looked at me and said:  "You look just like a movie star Momma".   Now isn't that a great reason to have kids.
