So Many Shoes, So Little Time

If you ask Grace what she would like from Santa, she will say SHOE. I knew that Grace was truly meant to be my daughter when on our first day together, I put a pair of shoes on her and she refused to take them off for bed. That night we covered her up with her new blanket...all but the shoes which she had to keep an eye on. SHOE was her first word, they are her favorite play things and the only item of clothing she insists on choosing herself.
SNOWPANTS would be her least favorite thing. Gracie is a southern girl...winter temps dip down to 75 degrees in her birth province. Southern girls are happy in diapers and shoes...but try to put snowpants on the girl and she goes boneless. And we are expecting our first snowfall tomorrow...with a very frosty reception from our newest Canadian.
