Unflappable

As we were boarding our flight to Beijing, I was saying to myself" I can't wait until we're on our way back home." So the events that followed are most certainly my fault.
So now I must change the itinerary for July 23 to include: Leave on flight for Beijing, an hour into the flight, pilot announces flaps are stuck, circle Toronto airport for awhile awaiting emergency services, take a hard landing, blow out the tires and burn the brakes, fire department manages the heat, take bus from middle of runway back to airport, try it all again when they get the new plane ready. 13 days until we get to come home.
I am sure that our food and drink tab in the business class lounge today exceeds what our tickets were worth. Top up that epidural.
